Finish Chelsea’s Run

Join your friends and neighbors for the 7th Annual Finish Chelsea’s Run in honor of Chelsea King. The event will feature a competitive 5K race and fun run/walk, family festival, children’s activities, team competition, entertainment and refreshments. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Chelsea’s Light Foundation Sunflower Scholarship Fund.

CRSSD Festival

Spring Busker Festival

Experience the only Busker Festival in Southern California. Professional performers from across the country will showcase their talents, from sword swallowing to knife throwing to pogo stick tricks and juggling on unicycles. This is a free event, but performers will be accepting tips.

Best Coast Beer Festival

Taste beer from nearly 100 of the West Coast’s craft breweries, enjoy the sweet sounds of local bands, and dine on a tasty lunch from food truck alley. Proceeds from ticket sales go towards Cancer for College, a scholarship charity that helps cancer survivors attend college.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Irish Festival

Experience the largest Irish celebration west of the Mississippi. The parade features over 120 floats complete with marching bands, bagpipers, traditional Irish dance troupes, clowns, and dignitaries. The festival portion boasts live music, a beer garden and a kids’ zone. The parade will start at 10:30 am at 5th and Laurel Streets.

Planet Love Festival

Celebrate love, gratitude, and the beauty of nature at this community fundraiser for the Water Protectors and a plastic-free ocean. This event features powerful visuals, fashion, art, music, an Eco Fashion Show, and much more.

March 12

International Mariachi Festival & Competition

Celebrate San Diego’s heritage through mariachi music and traditional ballet folklorico dancing. The main stage will showcase a variety of mariachi groups from the United State and Mexico, and the children’s area includes live entertainment, a mini-petting zoo, face painting, carnival game booths, and more. This is a free event.

San Diego Latino Film Festival

Choose from more than 160 films from Latin America, Spain, the United States, Mexico, and other parts of the world in celebration of Latino film, art, and culture. There will also be guest filmmaker appearances, workshops, live music, art exhibitions and gala celebrations.

Shamrock San Diego

Join over 20,000 attendees from across the U.S. to partake in a celebration so grand that it will leave you wondering what side of the pond you’re on. Over 50,000 square feet of Astro Turf will be rolled out to set the scene for a Saint Patrick’s Day block party that boasts three stages, non-stop music, and—of course—plenty of green beer and Irish Whiskey libations.
