As early indications had shown (due to increased buyer activity), the total number of home sales (units) for February has increased over the previous month by almost 12%, however the median price has dropped by a 1.66% for attached and by a 7.46% over January’s sales. This increase in the total number of units sold versus the decrease in the median price clearly shows that buyers were mostly after the foreclosure listings and that also home sellers are getting more realistic by pricing their properties according to the market.
