SummerFest – 8/03-8/26

Encinitas Concerts by the Sea – 8/05, 8/12, 8/19, & 8/26
Sit back and enjoy these concerts by the sea. Be sure to bring your beach chair or blanket and come ready to listen to some of the best music San Diego North County has to offer. Bring the whole family and come down to Moonlight Beach from 3pm to 5pm.

Encinitas Summer Concert Series – 8/05, 8/19
Quail Botanical Gardens welcomes “Come See Broadway” and the Grammy award-winning performers such as Tom Scott backed by Jimmy Mulidore’s Jazz Train. Also appearing is Brian Lynch’s trumpet quartet for three summer concerts.

Snorkel La Jolla Cove – 8/5, 8/26
Come swim through San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park and the Ecological Reserve off the coast of La Jolla. Discover the exotic playground of such beautiful creatures as garibaldi, lobster & octopi. The Birch Aquarium in La Jolla is home to all these adventures.

Summer Pops at the Moonlight – 8/05
The San Diego Symphony once again brings its popular Summer Pops to San Diego! Gates open for picnics on the lawn at 6pm and the concert begins at 7:30pm. Enjoy the music at Moonlight Amphitheatre at Brengle Terrace Park in Vista.

AFLAC All-American High School Baseball Classic – 8/11
Let’s play ball and have some good old fashion family fun! The fifth annual AFLAC Baseball Classic featuring the nation’s top thirty-eight rising seniors to be in an East vs West match-up. Watch all the fun at the San Diego State University’s Tony Gwynn Stadium.

Encanto Street Fair & Cultural Arts Festival – 8/11-8/12
The fair is strategically laid out between 63rd to 68th and Imperial Avenue and includes a jazz concert in the park. Festival goers can capture the artistic scenery of Encanto. Easily accessible and plenty of parking. The fair caters to families and lovers of music and fun. The event takes place from 10:00am-8:00pm.

Art in the Village – 8/12
Come browse over 200 of the finest arts and crafts vendors in the most beautiful of settings in the Village of Carlsbad, just two blocks from the beach. With live soft jazz music, the atmosphere is leisurely as you browse the fine art and crafts of North County.

CityFest Arts & Crafts Festival – 8/12
This festival includes special entertainment, two food courts, dance area and over 250 arts/crafts and commercial vendors. Come out and enjoy the festival 10am to 8pm in Central Hillcrest Area.

Laugh Out Loud Comedy Series w/Kathleen Madigan – 8/14
Voted Best Female Stand Up at the American Comedy Awards, Kathleen Madigan will have her audience rolling in laughter with her sarcastic take on life. Come see her at Pala Casino Spa & Resort.

Longboard Surf Contest & Festival – 8/16-8/19
The Annual Oceanside Longboard Surfing Club Contest and Beach Festival includes competitors from eighteen different clubs. Competition will include a pro-nose riding event with food and vendor booths. Come watch all the excitement at the south side of Pier Amphitheatre in Oceanside 6am to 8pm.

Sunset Food & Wine Experience – 8/16
Bernardo Winery hosts an evening of unique gourmet foods, fine wines, microbrews, chocolatiers and gourmet food markets. With special musical guest Bradley Leighton, a premier jazz flautist, this event is sure to entice all five senses. 5:30pm-8:30pm.

Taste of Main Street Encinitas – 8/16

Arts Guild Fall Fine Arts Show – 8/31
