Eastlake continues to be popular with homebuyers with its many amenities and family-oriented neighborhoods. Eastlake real estate includes the master planned neighborhoods of Eastlake Greens, Eastlake Woods, Eastlake Trails, Eastlake Vistas and Salt Creek.
It features three distinct neighborhoods, parks, trails, lakes, schools, industrial and commercial zoning. The Eastlake real estate master-plan creation began in 1979 and the first residents moved in, in 1986.
This fast growing community offers an 18-hole golf course and is home to the Arco Olympic Training Center. Eastlake High School serves as dual use with the Chula Vista public library system.

A major toll road that makes easy access in and out of Eastlake opened in the fall of 2006. It takes 7 miles to access Interstate 805.
