San Diego real estate statistics that sold and closed during June 2012 for resale condos, townhomes and detached homes as reported through Sandicor and the San Diego Association of Realtors were as follow:

During June of 2012 we again saw a bit of increase in total sales volume of existing condos, townhomes and detached homes. June posted a 4.02% increase in detached homes and posted a 3.11% decrease in attached (condos, and townhomes) single family properties when compared to total sales of May 2012. However both detached and attached homes posted again a healthy increase in sales volume when compared to those of June 2011.

When comparing those figures with those of June of last year, we see an impressive 30.14% increase in detached homes and a 4.06% increase in condo and townhome closings. Year-to-Date Median sale prices ended up flat from those of June of 2011 for detached homes at $367,000 and again higher for condos and townhomes at $215,000.

As a reminder, the above numbers represent condos and detached homes that closed escrow during the month of June 2012 and have actually been taken of the market during April or May 2012.
