During July of 2011 total sales of existing condos, townhomes and detached homes fell a bit posting a 1.04% decrease in detached homes and posted a larger 12.13% decrease in attached (condos, and townhomes) single family properties when compared to total sales of June 2011.

When comparing those figures with those of July of last year, we see a 4.32% increase in detached homes and an 3.89% decrease in condos and townhome closings. Median sale prices are still lower from those of July of last year; detached homes at $375,000 and condos and townhomes at $205,250.

As a reminder, the above numbers represent condos and detached homes that closed escrow during the month of July 2011 and have actually been taken of the market during May or June 2011.
